Electric hand drill is a kind of electric tool that we often use in our lives. After a period of use, it needs to be maintained to eliminate faults and prolong its service life. Can you maintain the hand drill by yourself?

First, unplug the plug that the electric drill is connected to the socket to ensure the safety of the circuit during the maintenance process.

Second, place the electric drill on the workbench, use a screwdriver to loosen the self-tapping nails or screws on the shell of the electric drill, and open half of the shell; generally the structure of the new electric drill is semi-embedded, that is, all the machines, The electrical components are installed in the other half of the housing.

Third, remove the carbon brush from the casing, then take down the end of the drill chuck, and then gently lift the motor to take out the rotor. Do not damage the enameled wire. Use a paper towel to wipe the commutator on the rotor. If it is too dirty or worn It can be polished with emery cloth first and then polished with water sandpaper or metallographic sandpaper until it is bright.

Fourth, wipe the dust and dirt on the bearings on the front and back of the rotor. If the bearings are sealed, you can wipe the outside clean. If the seal is broken, it should be replaced in time.

Fifth, clean the helical gear shaft in front of the rotor, clean the oil inside the shell, and clean the helical gear and the bearings (or sleeves) at both ends of the drill chuck rod.

Sixth, replace the removed and cleaned accessories according to their original positions. Install the rotor first, then install the helical gear of the drill chuck rod, and then install the carbon brush. If the carbon brush is shorter than 7-8 mm, replace it in time. The carbon brush should be installed and flattened, and finally a little grease is added between the gear pair and the bearing. All the parts should be installed and flattened and checked to be correct, then the other half can be covered, tighten the screws, turn it by hand and feel no stuck, then it can be powered on.
